ALWAYS REMEMBERED NEVER FORGOTTEN
Prayer given at the 40th Class Reunion
God of goodness and life,
We give thanks for the few short hours we have together
Remembering those seperated by death or distance and giving thanks by chance or grace, we are here.
God of love and grace,
Give sight to our eyes to see beyond the grey hairs and extra pounds.
To the athlets, cheerleaders, and musicians and students some forty years ago
God of music and dance, may we again sway to the music of our youth,
Take the stiffness in our joints and make our feet light as we shag one more time.
May we once again create memories of a life time,
And at the end of the night journey safely home.
